Our beautiful autumn blaze maples!
Camille's 13th birthday! We had the Torgerson's and G & G Cable over for cake and icecream. She is so grownup and turning into a beautiful girl. We love her spunky personality. She keeps us on our toes, but is also the most giving, kind person I know. We just love her!
Paige 4 yrs and Mason 8 yrs. These two are twins born 4 years apart. Our two blue eyed blondies. They have a special bond that is so tender. I hope they always love that they share a birthday. Garet and Dallin are good sports with all the birthday commotion in one week. They were very generous and gave Camille, Paige and Mason gifts. Garet bought an air soft gun for Mason and had it wrapped for at least 2 months.
Mason got to have a friend party. It was a lot of fun!
Paige and Mason's lego Cake.
For Fall break we headed south. First stop.....Kanarraville falls. WOW! What a cool hike! We wore water shoes and jackets. The water was icy cold, but such a cool canyon.
It's a mini version of the Zion's narrows.
We mountain biked up a dirt rode for about a mile and then ditched our bikes, put on the water shoes and started hiking through the water. The red sand stone rocks, yellow leaves on the cottonwoods made for beautiful scenery. It was a beautiful day....not too hot or cold.
You come to this ladder that you have to climb if you want to keep hiking. Garet and I went over and checked it out, but then we decided to turn around because the kids were getting a little chilly.
We stayed in Hurricane at a hotel that night and the kids swam their hearts out. The pool was so warm. None of us wanted to get out!
The next day we drove out to another biking trail and biked for a couple hours on the slick rock. It was a blast! Dallin did so awesome considering his bike doesn't have any gears.
Then we headed over to Leeds to the Ben Lott Ranch. It is such a cool place! We had an extended , Taylor reunion with Jared's Dad's Dad's side of the family. Jared's Grandpa passed away about 5 years ago, but his youngest sister is still alive, so she is the one that organized the reunion. The ranch has all kinds of cool things for kids to do...zipline, climbing wall, bouncy houses, human hamster wheels, mini 4-wheelers, craft shop with every kind of craft you can think of, a carnival ride, bow and arrows, hatchet throwing, a ropes course, and much more.
Dallin thought he'd gone to heaven when he could drive this little 4-wheeler around with Ruby on the back.
Ava and Garet trying out the teeter totter.
Taylor, Camille and Paige.
Even Mason liked the 4-wheeler.
We went hiking in the nearby mountains. The fall colors were spectacular.
We all got these cute red shirts. It was a fun break!
