Kitty, Broken Arm, Soccer and New Do!

We brought a kitty home from Grandma Taylor's house about 6 weeks ago.  We told to kids when we moved to Hooper we could get an "outside cat", so now that our yard is in we have to keep that promise:)
We had the cat for about 3 weeks and then one morning it didn't come to the back door and wait for it's food and it hasn't come back since.  Mason was pretty upset.  He would stand at the back door and say, "Kitty, Kitty?"  So, the next time we went out to Duchesne, which was a week or so later we brought home another kitty, that looks exactly the same.  They are sisters.  So, most of these pictures are of the first kitty, "Daisy", and one picture is the new cat, "Lily".  (Camille named them!)
The new kitty, "Lily", sleeping in her box on the way home from Duchesne.
While we were in Duchesne we went to the Duchesne County fair, horsepull, and Rodeo.  We had a great time.  Mason even made it through the entire rodeo, which lasted until 10:30p.m.
Garet's best buddy!
Cowgirl Camille and Grandma.
Mason was being silly with Camille's hat.

Camille broke her upper arm two days before her soccer season started!  Boo-hoo!  She was so bummed.  She fell off the monkey bars at Grandma's and landed just right.  She was very brave and doesn't even complain that it hurts.  She's only had tylenol a few times since it happened.  Wow, kids are tough.  They can't put a cast on it because it's so high on her arm, so she gets to wear a sling for the next 4 weeks.  That means no soccer, biking, scooter, running, etc.  This is going to be very hard for a 6 year old girl.  I hope we make it.  She went to her first soccer game to watch and cheer her team on.

We've been waiting all summer to cut Camille's hair and donate it to Lock of Love and we were finally ready to do it yesterday!  Aunt Carly helped us with the new do and voila, it is gone, all 11 inches of it.
I got to do the first cut.
She has the most beautiful hair!  What a lucky girl.
And today was her first day of 1st grade!  She loved it.  Her favorite thing about the day was eating lunch at school!  She is so grown up, I can't believe it!
Garet was missing his Millie all day!  He gave her the biggest hug when she came home!

More Uinta's

We were lucky enough to go to the Uinta's again the last week in July!  This time we took some of my family and a couple of our friends.   We went up to a place called the Gorge, which is about 12 miles in.  It was a long journey, but we had a great time!  My Grandpa, who is 78 years old came with us!  He is amazing and is in such good shape.  It was so fun to have him with us!

On Friday we took a little ride up to some lakes.  This is Black Lake.

My brother, Jake, and his wife, Kaylyn.  They both caught some big fish out of the river!

The 6 of us at black lake.

Eating fish is the best thing about the Uinta's.  They taste so good when they are fresh out of the river.

Grandpa!

Jared's Mom and Dad watched the kids for us this time around, so Camille was missing Lightning of course!  As soon as we got home she had to go take her for a ride even if it meant bare back!
