Fall Harvest

Hooper Tomato Days is a much anticipated event.  This year they had a chicken chase, rabbit rush, cow pie discus, cash cow and a few other events.  The kids had a ball.  Garet won the cow pie discus!  Paige is waiting patiently for her prize!

 Dallin finally got to go to Kindergarten.  He was soooo ready!

 Jared went on a motorcycle adventure with Andy, Glen, and Jason.  They rode a crazy number of miles in 3 days.

High Uinta's and New School Year

 The kids would scoot up this log.......Mason was coming down and slipped off the log and cut his head on a rock.  It bleed quite a bit and they had to get creative with the bandaging!

 The kids and I volunteered to go work at the church garden in Ogden.  Our assignment was to pick beans.  Lots and lots of beans!  It was a beautiful summer morning and we went to breakfast after.  The kids thought it was great that they could order whatever type of breakfast food they wanted!

 First day of Jr. High, which means I'm officially old, early mornings, bus ride, lockers, homework, teenager attitude, and much more.  I can't believe my sweet Millie is old enough to be in 7th grade.  She is turning into a beautiful YW and we love her spunk.  We will have a Jr high student in our house for the next 11 years....hopefully we survive!  So far so good.

 Dallin had to wait a week to start school, which was torture for the poor kid.  He has Mrs. Young, who all my kids have had.  She is an angel teacher.  We love her so much!

 Dallin and Paige have been quite the sweeties in the morning before Dallin goes to school.  They play all kinds of fun things together.

 Garet bought an airsoft gun with some of his money.  It came as a 2-pack, so he saved the other and gave it to Mason for his birthday.....what a nice brother.  He's in the backyard target shooting.

We never get tired of watching Jared slalom.

West Point 4th of July parade with Grandma Taylor and Torgerson's.  Jared worked that day because we were headed to Starvation that Wednesday.  Nate was in St. George helping his parents and G Taylor was working.  The kids got a lot of candy!

Camille and her friends did a booth at the Hooper Farmer's market this summer.  They made bows, bracelets, necklaces, and crocheted things to sell.  Taylor, Kira, Olivia, Camille, and Gracie.

Garet built a bunch of mini weapons to sell (mini crossbow, pocket launcher, etc).  Mason sold apricots or plums or whatever fruit Jared could find for him.

Girls Camp 2016 - Camp Lamondi.  Camille's first year at camp!  We had an amazing time!  I think we had about 50 girls and 15-ish leaders.  Maybe I can sneak in someone's duffle bag next year....I am going to miss these girls!

First garden dinner....potatoes, green beans, tomatoes, and stuffed anaheim peppers.  I guess we skipped the squash this time.

Jared's insane apricot drying adventure.  Fruit leather and apricot halves.  He did most of this while I was at girls camp which was a huge bonus.

 We were out by ourselves just relaxing and I was getting hot.  I said I was ready to jump in and no one thought I would....well I proved them wrong!

 We met up with Dee Davies and his kids.  Garet, Carter, and Tulsa had a great time on the tube.  Poor Tulsa just couldn't stay on.  I think he got dumped at least 10 times!

 Dallin got to go on a motorcycle overnighter with Dad!  They went up American Fork canyon somewhere.  Jason and Zac came along for the adventure.  He had a great time!

I took Garet and Mason hiking up Waterfall canyon while the girls were at Grandma's girls camp and Dallin and Dad were off motorcycling.  It was a fun morning!

Paige cut her eye open on the edge of the couch when her crazy brothers were chasing her around!  Ouch!  The doctor glued it.
