Lake trip, garden, and cousin sleepover

Starvation was wonderful this year!  We did lots of swimming, paddleboarding, skiing, wave running, eating, talking, playing in the sand, sitting in the trailers during thunderstorms, and gathering up things that blew away.
Camille and Garet enjoying the water!

Aunt Melissa with Hailee and Mason
Dallin LOVED the sand and this truck.
 Dad and Garet
Mason and Grandpa found this duck while they were off gathering things we lost during the night.  They couldn't find whose it was so it becames Mason's new friend, aka "Ducky".
Jared bought an old sump pump off KSL and pumped water up on the beach so the kids could build cool things in the sand.  They had a great time.
Jared and Camille getting warm in the sun.  Camille tried the skiis again, but didn't quite get up, however she knee boarded several times and really enjoyed it.  Garet road the knee board also.

Jared's Dad and Uncle both bought toy haulers this past spring, which made camping very nice and convenient.  We were feeling pretty spoiled.  They were perfect when the dark clouds came rolling in:)
Paige even played in the water one day.  She loved it.

She sat and played in the sand for at least a half an hour without even eating it.  What a sweetie pie!
Home again home again.  Tired boys!

One day I told Garet to wheel the small tiller out to the garden so I could come till in a little while.  When I looked out to see how it was going I saw three curious little boys trying to get the tiller started all by themselves.  Silly boys!
I heard things like, "Maybe it needs some gas", "You just need to pull harder", "I bet I can do it"
We had Elle and Isaac come spend a couple nights at our house last week!  It was a lot of fun!  They are so funny together.  Camille and Elle woke up early to go "running" (Camille wants to run a 5K with a couple of friends for Tomato Days).  They came upstairs with lipstick on.  It was too cute.
I didn't take hardly any pictures, but they had a ball.
I finally let the boys put the hose in the sandbox and they were in seventh heaven.
Shaved Ice Stand!  They earned money doing extra jobs and selling shaved ice and then I took them to the dollar store to spend their hard earned money.
Mason is our "garden picker".  He loves to go roam in the garden and find things to pick.  I love watching him out the window in his little piece of heaven.

Last Saturday we tried to hike Mt. Ogden, but the weather just wasn't cooperating with us.  We were going to ride the gondola  up and then hike the rest of the way, but the thunderstorms were threatening so we bagged it and came home to extract honey!  We'll try again soon!

Paige is 9 months old!  WOW!  She is not crawling yet, but getting closer each day.  I found her sitting up in her crib today after her nap.  It won't be long now!

Summer Sleepover

Grandma had her annual sleepover for the older (aka potty trained) Grand kids a couple weeks ago!  The kids look forward to this every year, so they were super excited to spend 3 days and 2 nights with their cousins at grandma's house (with no parents).

Grandma and Grandpa and the kids:  Elle, Camille, Scarlett, Mason, Amelia, Braxton, Garet, Owen, and Isaac.  Sleeping outside under the stars.
The most favorite Aunt:  Kaydi

Lots of swimming and playing in the water:)

The Sand box is always a favorite.
 Tubby Time
Aunt Kaydi did makeovers on these beauties.
Sparklers are a blast until someone gets burned:(  Poor Scarlett.
The Pro showing off her skills to the boys.
We had a BBQ the last day.  It was fun to get together with everyone.
Collette, Kendra, Kaylyn, Carly (with Paige), and Me.  Kaydi is missing.

Thanks Grandma for helping the cousins to become best friends and making memories that will last forever!
