Sweet Baby Dallin Boy!

My sister Collette took some pictures of my sweet Dallin while we were in Toquerville for Thanksgiving!  They turned out sooooo cute.  Of course, why wouldn't they, when he is the smiliest baby ever!  He is a picture taking champ.  We love this boy so much!  He makes me smile all the time.  Another good thing - he is still not crawling, so life is still easy at our house.  I'm sure it's only a matter of weeks or days;  that Christmas tree is calling his name.
9 1/2 months old!

Camille's Baptism Day

Camille and Elle (her cousin) were baptized a week and a half ago!  It was such a special day for both of them and our families.  They are just 10 days apart, so we thought it would be nice to have their baptisms together.  For their eighth birthdays, Grandma and Grandpa Cable took them to temple square and then to dinner.  Grandma took lots of pictures of them in their pretty white dresses.  They turned out so adorable.  Two little peas in a pod.  They will be best friends forever I'm sure!

This is their baptism invitation.

G & G with the two girls at Temple square.

Camille's 2nd Grade teacher even came to the baptism!  She had knee surgery the day before, but still came to see Camille and give her a special letter and gift.  Camille thought that was so neat.  When she was telling her primary class about it the next day she started crying.  So sweet!  Her teacher said she wanted her to know how important baptism is.

Right before the baptism.
Grandma & Grandpa Homer were able to come!
We had a little brunch at the church afterwards.  It was so fun!

Camille is such a great big sister to her three brothers!  Mason would have nothing to do with the picture.  Elle is also the big sister to 3 brothers (well almost).  Her third brother is coming in March!
Their was a big snow storm the night before the baptism so Grandma & Grandpa Taylor made the trip out on Friday night.  Camille and the boys loved having them stay at our house.  It was a special treat!
Such a special little girl!  We are so glad you came to our family!
It was the perfect day for a baptism with a fresh coat of snow on the ground.  We are so glad you made the choice to be baptized a member of "The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints".

Deer Hunt

Garet went on the big "Cow Hollow" hunting trip this year!  He was excited to go with the big boys.  They took the horses up to the usual place for 3 days.  Dad, Grandpa T, Jason, & Will were there!  It was freezing cold, but they were prepared! Garet came home and had all kinds of tales to tell!  He said:
"A bear scratched my face" (A branch scratched me)
"I fell off the horse" (only once)
"It was so cold, my candy froze in my pocket"
"I got to ride the horse all by myself"
"I ate lots of candy"
"Daddy let me chop, and chop, and chop the whole time"
"I found some moose antlers and a jaw bone"
"I want to go again!"
I think that was a successful hunt for a 5-year old boy!

 Look at those icicles.

 The pack train.
No luck this year!  They still had a great time though.

Halloween Festivities!

During Fall break we we able to go down to Gardner Village and see the Witches!  Grandma Taylor called and invited us to go with her and Terra, Taylor, Hailee, Ava, & Luke.  Melissa, Hazel, and Evelyn also came!  The witches were really neat - very creative.  The kids loved finding all the different witches.  I only took a few pictures because it was very crowded and I was trying to keep track of all the kids:)  I think next time we'll have to go on a different day when it is not so busy.

Taylor and the witch pulling the cart.
Ava in her tiny witches hat!
This witch was Garet's favorite.  It is riding a bike!
Grandma and Grandpa Cable have a Halloween party for the Grandkids every year.  The kids love getting dressed up and going to her house to play games and eat chili, breadsticks, and homemade doughnuts.
Dallin was a cute pumpkin and Addelyn was a BYU cheerleader!
Grandpa - The Clown - with Dallin.
Garet - Grass, Camille - Vampire, Dallin - Pumpkin, and me - Mommy:)  Mason fell asleep in the car on the way over so when he woke up he was being extra ornery and wouldn't wear his lawn mower costume.

 Camille and Elle
 Garet and Isaac
Mason's very creative lawn mower that Daddy made.
All the kids ready to play ring the soda pop.  (Even Grandma dressed up in this funny wig!)

The next day Mason was ready to wear his costume.
 Carving pumpkins.

Heading out for some Trick or Treating.  The Grass and Lawn mower together at last!
 My three crazies!
Mason got to ride in the wagon because his costume was a little hard to walk in!
We had a great Halloween!  We also had a ward Halloween party the Friday before Halloween.  On Halloween night we went around the block and then headed over to Clinton to visit some of our friends!  We were sugared and costumed out this year.  Glad that one's in the books:)
