Camille can ride a two-wheeler!!

She did it!! Camille can ride a two-wheeler all by herself!

She has been balancing in the middle of her training wheels for about a month, so yesterday I asked her if she wanted to take them off! She said yes, if you don't let go. I helped her for about 1 minute and then she was saying, "Mom, let go, I can do it myself!" and off she went! I had a hard time letting her go; my baby is growing up too fast! She can stop and turn and go really fast. She still hasn't figured out how to start without the curb or the garage door, but she is doing great! She was giggling all day yesterday because she was so excited. We called Grandma and Elle and Daddy and had to tell them the good news!

Toquerville Trip

For memorial weekend we headed down to Toquerville, about 20 miles north of St. George. My Dad and Uncle own a house down there and we get to go and stay once in a while. My entire family was their except of course my brother, Jake who is on a mission. My sister Collette even came with her 2 week old baby!! She is brave.



We of course went to Toquerville Falls, but is wasn't exactly warm enough to swim, although my sister Kaydi who is almost 16 was not afraid of the cold. My brother-in-law Andy also jumped off the waterfall, crazy!
Camille and Elle are 10 days apart and are inseperable. They spent the entire weekend playing together. Best buddies!

We all rode in the truck up to the waterfall. Some of us in the back of course. Mom (Grandma) stayed at home with the babies!
The girls also went shopping at the outlets in St. George and got tons of cute deals at The Children's Place! It was so fun!
Me, Jared, Luke, and Andy went mtn. biking at Gooseberry Mesa on Saturday morning. It was a really great trail and perfect weather. We didn't have any accidents either!!
Sunday we went to church in Toquerville where we doubled the Relief Society and Elder's Quorum, and then visited the St. George temple and cemetery where my brother-in-law's Grandma is buried. It was a beautiful day and very relaxing.
On Monday we were supposed to go swimming, but the weather was cold and rainy in the morning and we had problems with the plumbing in the house. It is a very old house and needs new pipes. All-in-all we had a great weekend and were worn out when we got home:) But, hey isn't that what vacations are for?!?

Garden Time

We finally got our tiller going again. (Jared had to replace the engine). We tilled the garden and were getting ready to plant it and Garet found a few carrots from last year! He was so excited. Our kids love to be in the garden with us, so this year Jared staked off a couple little squares for them to each have their very own garden. Camille planted all sorts of things and Garet's is just a digging hole!

We have two new nieces!!!

My younger sister Collette and her husband Bryan had Amelia Collette on May 10th after a very rough and long delivery. We are glad they are both doing well. Amelia had to be in the NICU for a couple days, but she is home and doing well. She weighed 6lb. 2 oz.

My other younger sister Carly and her husband Andy had a baby girl, Scarlett Johanna on March 14th. She weighed 6lb. 1 oz. Everything went well for mom and baby. It is so wonderful to be an Aunt. I enjoyed it so much!! They are beautiful babies.


We are also expecting our third baby at the end of October. We find out what it is in 2 weeks, so we'll keep you posted. Camille thinks that it is a girl and she already has a few names picked out!! She is so excited. Garet just knows that the baby is going to sleep in his bed and he'll have to sleep in a big boy bed in Camille's room. Kids are so funny!!

Grandma Davies 80th Birthday!

Jared's, Grandma Davies celebrated her 80th birthday in May. We headed out to Duchesne for the celebration. Jared's mom was in charge of a large part of it and she did a great job. It was a big success. She is an amazing lady. She still makes beautiful quilts and is quite the scrapbooker.
Grandma & Grandpa Davies. Grandpa was able to come to the party for part of the time. He turned 80 a couple years ago, and has had a few health problems since then.

All the kids gathered around Grandma and sang Happy birthday! Camille loves her cousins Hailee and Taylor!

We spent the weekend in Duchesne, so all the kids got in Grandma Taylor's "BIG" tub. Poor Garet is the only grandson on Jared's side. Hopefully he'll get a boy cousin or brother soon! Rub-a-dub!!

Goblin Valley

We went to Goblin Valley in April with Jared's Family. It was wonderful. The weather the perfect and we had a great time. This is the Tundra before we left. It was loaded. We managed to fit 2 mountain bikes, 2 road bikes, a picnic table, all of our camping supplies and ten Gallons of gas!! I never thought it would fit, but Jared was totally convinced it would. It definitely took an engineer to pack that thing!We saw some pictographs that were really neat!

This one was so dark; it looks like it was painted yesterday. It is amazing that the indians could find things to paint with.

We also saw this arch by the indian writings. Crazy Grandpa!

Playing on the Goblins. All the girls and of course Garet. Krista & Eric came with us, so Alyssa is in the picture with Hailee and Garet. The kids had a blast.
These rocks surrounds our camp and Jared had a blast biking on them. He went pretty high!
A few of us hiked down Horse Shoe Canyon to see some more pictographs and petroglyphs. It was beautiful. I would like to go back someday and do the entire hike.
