Mother's Day and other Events

For Mother's Day we gave my mother a photo shoot with all of us!  You might think this is crazy, but if you know my Mom you know she absolutely loves pictures.  She has pictures of her family, especially children and grandchildren all over her house.  She is kind of a picture fanatic.  We had them taken at the Ogden Botanical Gardens.  It was a gorgeous, memorable day!

Dallin won second place in the Kindergarten division of the Ogden Nature Center Art contest.  The theme was Bea"Utah"ful - favorite Utah landscapes.  He drew a picture of Lake Powell.  We had a fun morning walking around the Earth Day celebration after the awards ceremony.  He was so proud!

Paige tried out the climbing wall.

One of the days in May I wasn't feeling well, so Dallin whipped a lunch up for Paige in no time!  Such sweeties.

Dallin went to the Dinosaur Park for a Kindergarten field trip.  Richie was his partner!

Garet played March Slav
Kandie came for a visit so we had a get together at G & G Homer's house.  It was fun to see everyone!

Camille and Abby at the spring Orchestra concert!  She is doing so well learning the violin.

It was a big day!  Braces!

Garet performed in the 5th grade patriotic program!  They sounded amazing!  One of the grandparents wanted the kids to perform for the veterans who get to go on a trip to Washington DC.  It never worked out, but that's how good the program was.  They even had a slide show of all the kids' heroes!  It was emotional.

A neighbor called one day to tell us he had a swarm of honey bees in his tree.  Jared couldn't get home fast enough and the bees left before he could catch them.  Pretty impressive!

Mason's 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Larson made all these nice pictures for the kids and had a little awards party for them.  Mason is definitely kind and nice and he made some big improvements in reading this year.
