Dallin and Paige playing dress up together. I love when they play well together.
Making luminaries for the "light the path" event that the youth in our neighborhood put on. They lined our walking path with luminaries and then had a live nativity along the way with hot chocolate at the cul-de-sac at the end of the path. It turned out really neat and Camille got to be an Angel behind our house.
Gingerbread house making. We made our very own gingerbread this time too. We had to hot glue the structure, but the candy attaching we used royal icing. Lots of fun!
Stocking notes on Christmas Eve! A great tradition for our family.
Christmas Eve pj's! Everyone got matching onesies!
Blurry picture, but had to put the girl picture in!
The only year I'll be able to buy all matching jammies. I bought all five sizes they offered (XL, L, M, S, XS). Cute kids!
Santa brought something a little different to the kids this year! He brought them each a coupon for an experience instead of all toys. Dallin and Paige got a coupon to go to the Rush (an aquatic center). We took them a couple days after Christmas!
Garet and Camille got coupons to the Junction (iFly, Flowrider, iRock) and Nordic Valley ski day! We went and did the iFly over Christmas break also! The ski day is scheduled Jan 13th. Hopefully it goes well!
Mason got tickets to the Monster Jam show in Salt Lake at the Vivint Smart Home arena on Jan 6th. We are excited for that!
Grandma and Grandpa Homer's Christmas Eve party. The Nativity is the highlight for the kids!
Mason was Joseph this year, Paige a cow, Dallin a wiseman, Garet an InnKeeper, Camille a narrator.
Santa Claus is pretty fun too!
We all wore purple! Me, Collette, Mom, Carly, DeLynne, and Kaydi!
We had a huge snow storm on Christmas day and got about 8-10 inches of snow. Sledding behind the golf cart at Grandma and Grandpa Cable's house on Christmas Day. We also sledded behind the truck before church on Christmas also. The kids were so excited about the snow. Garet said, "This is the best Christmas ever!"
Collette's kids used some borrowed snow clothes. The green and yellow coat is Braxton (Dallin's clothes) and the gray and pink is Conrad (Paige's coat and hat). Fun times!
Camille and Dallin decided to stay at Grandma's with Amelia, Addy, and Scarlett for a sleepover. We brought Anabelle home with us and Paige thought she'd gone to heaven. We all met up at the cabin the next day.
What a great group of women we have in our family! Kaydi, Carly, Crystal, Kendra, Kaylyn, Collette (holding Demitri), Elle, Camille, and Mom.
Cabin fun! Lots and lots of time on the snowmobiles, tubes, snowbike, and mini snowmobile.
Amelia, Scarlett, Garet, Mason, Dallin
Addy, Me, Paige, and Camille
Around and around the meadow.
Me pulling Garet on the snowbike. He loved that thing!
These kids couldn't get enough of this mini snowmobile. They pulled each other and went non-stop the whole day long!
Playing one of the new games the grandkids got from Grandma!
More Christmas morning excitement!
The kids got these flashlights in their stockings...they don't take any batteries!
The kids were so sweet this year. They tried really hard to focus on giving gifts instead of receiving gifts. All of them did a good job being creative with the gifts they gave each other.
Dad crashed on his motorcycle (in the garden) on Dec 23rd and broke his 1st metacarpal (thumb). I was pretty upset and so was he! Darn!
New scarves, hats, and goggles! Ready to play in the new snow!
She sure is pretty and sweet when she wants to be!
Dad pulled the kids behind the truck on the path! Garet's homemade snowbike worked really well and he was obviously having a great time!
Rush date with my two babies! Daddy had to sit on the side because of his broken thumb.
Paige and Dallin went down this slide 500 times! They didn't want to leave!
Dallin is becoming quite the lego builder. He built his new lego set all by himself.
Garet and Mason's new lego set! It has several motors and a remote control. Wow, 1600 pieces only took them 2 days to build. Pretty impressive!
More sledding with Paige and Camille.
iFly fun! They were both very nervous, but had a really great time!
Mason said he'd like to do it, but Dallin said no way!
Other December highlights....Spending the night with G & G Homer and going to see the light's on Temple Square, Piano Recital with Terra at the new Southwest branch Weber County Library. Camille and Taylor played a piano duet, Camille and Hailee played a violin duet, Terra and I played a really neat Ukranian Carol of the Bells duet. Grandma and Grandpa Taylor and Cable came to watch. Ward Christmas breakfast with video of Primary kids, Cable party at Kendra and Luke's house (sledding, gift exchange), Bishopric dinner at Ruby River, Caroling with neighbors, Christmas Eve at Jason and Melissa's (gift exchange and lunch), appointment with Orthopedic surgeon for thumb, plaster cast, game night with Torgerson's and surgery for Jared. We feel so blessed this year!
