More Fall...

A Sunday morning that went smoothly.  This doesn't happen very often, but we love when it does.

 My favorite garden lunch with shrimp.  (Sauteed zucchini, squash, peppers, onions, topped with tomatoes, grilled shrimp, and feta).

 A few last boating days...it's so rewarding to watch your kids do something they really love.

 Dallin was brave and went surfing with Daddy!  Paige couldn't be shown up by her brother, so she tried it, but Jared was unsuccessful at getting up and she was too traumatized by the cold water.  We sure love our brave littles.  Next year should be eventful with these two:)

 The crazy thunderstorm that produced large hail, wind, rain and a tornado that ripped through Washington Terrace where my parents live.  It was nuts!

 The carrot harvest was great this year!  We had such good helpers.

 The last boating trip of the season.  It was pure glass the entire afternoon at Willard!  I've never seen it like that before.  A couple times you couldn't tell the water from the sky.  Absolutely beautiful.

 Hailee came with us and even braved the chilly fall water.

 It was all fun and games until our battery died on our boat and wouldn't start again....their was literally one other boat on the entire lake and they were no where to be seen.  We were a couple hundred yards from the shore, so we rowed to shore and then Jared caught a ride back with a fisherman.  I was left with the kids and millions of mosquitoes (the sun was going down).  Finally the other boat came into sight and we flagged them down and they towed us back to shore.  Thank goodness for nice people and a Heavenly Father who watches over us.  I'm so grateful I was prepared with jackets with hoods for all the kids and plenty of towels and blankets to keep the mosquitoes off.  We seriously would have been eaten alive.  It was a bittersweet end of season for us.

Conference weekend.  Lego time!  One of my favorite weekends of the year.
