Easter and Grandma Freda Davies Birthday Celebration

We headed down to visit Grandma and pa Homer the Friday before Easter.  DeLynne had the same idea and we had a great time coloring Easter eggs together.  We went down a little earlier and Grandpa treated us to lunch at Chick-fil-a and a tour of the golf cart shop.  It was a special day to spend with my sweet grandparents!

Cael, Von, (2 of the triplets), Lamont, and Mason
All eleven kids:  Cael, Ross, Von, Garet, Camille, Ezra
Paige, Dalline, Grandma, Grandpa, ShayLee, and Monty
Grandma and Pa Cable's annual Easter egg hunt.
Easter morning (well actually Saturday morning).  That Easter Bunny hid those baskets really well.  It took the boys a while to find them.

Our attempt at an Easter family picture.  Miss Paige was having a moment and wouldn't look at the camera.

This one turned out pretty good!

Aunt Pam planned a Birthday party for Grandma Davies 89th bday.  It was in Heber City at Aunt Pam's Cabin.  We had a great turn out with lots of family.  This is a picture of the great-grandkids.

Grand-kids with spouses - this is probably about half of the grandkids.

Children and spouses - Serena, Pam, Ron, and Dwayne (Claudia passed away a few months earlier)

The kids planting their gardens.

Mason is the best gardener, so he got the biggest garden plot.

Even Paige joined in the fun this year.  She shared a garden with Camille.

Camille ran track!  She ran the 800 (fast heat), the 4X400 and the 400.  Her fastest time for the 800 was the last meet (District) and she ran it in 2:50!  It was so fun to watch her.  I sure hope she does it again next year.
District meet - 800 m

Getting ready for the baton pass off in the 400 m.

Her district time and her personal best!

Such a pretty girl!

Grandma and Scarlett came to watch!  It was a beautiful warm spring day.

Spring Break in Moab

On our way to Moab for Spring Break!  Garet's giant bin of cheese balls that he got for his birthday!  The kids never want to eat those things again. Yuck!

Hiking around, finding cool places to hide!

Dallin loves his picture taken!

We took the kids on a bike ride on Wed before everyone else got there.  Paige and Dallin were troopers.  It was a pretty hard trail.  It's so fun that we can all go together now!

Paige's favorite thing is staying in the hotel and swimming!  We've made it our tradition to go a day early!

Kids just can't resist some good soft sand!

Cool arch!  I think it's called picture frame arch.

Paige and Evie (4 and 5 yrs)

Most of the kids!

They all have to try and get up the super technical spots!

Camber and Hazel (9 and 8 yrs)

Tukuhnikivista Arch frames Mount Tukuhnikivatz in the La Sal mountains off in the distance.  This was a difficult trail for ATV's, but would be a fun hike.

Mason, Grandma, Taylor, Camille, Hazel, Garet

We went on quite the adventure on a really difficult trail.  Nate ended up flipping the 4-wheeler over on top of him at one point and gave us all a really good scare.  He wasn't seriously injured, but really sore for awhile.

Eric and Alyssa

Garet and Mason loved riding the little motorcycle

Paige and Dad

Quite the bridge!

Alissa and Taylor - 13 yrs

The whole gang!  Back row:  Traci, Traci's Dad and Mom, Scott, Me, Jason, Nate T., Steve, Will, Krista, Eric
Middle:  Nancy, Camille, Taylor, Terra, Grandma Serena, Grandpa Brad
Front:  Ryker, Hazel, Paige, Mason, Evie, Luke, Mia, Ava, Dallin, Camber, Garet, Hailee, Kason, Weston

We hiked to this impressive Pritchett arch and didn't see a soul the entire time!  That's why Moab is so cool!  You can go see really cool arches without stepping foot into Arches National Park.

Another memorable Spring Break down in the books!
