Half Marathon! We did it!

We had a great race!  We both did better than expected and met our goal times.

Crystal finished: 1 hour 48 min.

Jared finished: 1 hour 30 min.

The day was perfect - good friends, good weather, great course, and great day!  Maybe I'm crazy, but I think I would do another half marathon.

Camille got to climb this climbing wall.  She was in heaven, and did a great job.  This girl never gives up once she's put her mind to something!  Watch out world, Camille is growing right up.

Camille and Garet were able to do the Kid K, and they had a great time.  Camille was not about to let Garet beat her, so every time he got closer, she'd go faster.  I'm sure that won't last very much longer.  Someday he is going to pass her right up.

Jared's parents came and spent the night with our kids and brought them to the race early on Saturday morning.  We appreciate them so much!  Thanks for coming to support us.

Jake's Wedding

My little brother Jake got married on May 1 in the Manti Temple to Kaylyn!  We are so excited for them.  They met down at Snow College (same place as we did) and got engaged in January.  We love Kaylyn so much.  She fits right into our family.  We drove down to Manti the night before the wedding and stayed in a motel since they were getting married at 9:15 a.m.  It was a beautiful day, but very chilly.  We survived the pictures!

Mason is finally starting to be a little better in the car.  He doesn't cry quite as much as he used to.  Hopefully he'll be good this summer on all of our trips!  Camille is such a good helper, and tries to keep the boys entertained.

Happy Boy!

Mason is always bumping his head.  He bumped it in the same spot that he has already bumped it the day of the wedding.  Poor little guy!

"Kindy" 500

Camille's Kindergarten had a Kindy 500.  All the kids had to make a cardboard box car and then they drove them around the school on a road trip and visited all the patriotic/national symbols, like The Statue of Liberty, Liberty Bell, Lincoln Memorial, White House, etc.  She had a great time in her pink bus.

All the kids sang some patriotic songs for the parents.  They did a great job!  She's been singing me the songs for months:)  I'm glad they are still teaching the kids to be patriotic in school.  We love America!

What to do on a Sunday afternoon!

The kids play outside and ride bikes, scooters, wagons, and tractors, while Jared and I relax in our chairs. The weather was beautiful that day. Summer is coming!
