Be true to who you are and the family name you bear.  We are proud to be Taylor's!
Nettie May Page Potts!  So proud to be named after a special lady.
A week or so before our Lake Powell trip we had to take the boat out to make sure it was running well.  We headed to Willard and had a fun time as a family!

Our annual Lake Powell trip did not disappoint this year!  The Schultz's found us a great spot on the beach and we spread out.  By the end of the week we had people encroaching from every angle and a couple even tried to use our port-a-potty that was on a trailer!  But we still managed to make some unforgettable memories and eat delicious food and play until we couldn't play anymore!
Our beach when we first arrived!  By the end of the week the water was covering half of this.

We made sure to keep our tent far away from the water's edge.

It seems really far away, but the slope was so gradual that the water really came up fast!
Paige was finally brave enough to try the kneeboard by herself!

Another surfing picture of Mom and Paige.

The kids love to "drag" on the rope behind the boat! Carly, Molly, Alynne, Leah, Camille, and Breelyn.  That's a lot of teenage girls!

Bree and Camille

We hiked up to indian ruins.  The water was much higher this year, so we were able to boat almost all the way up the canyon, which made it a nice short hike.  Paige and Camille.

Crazy Paige

Alynne and Raina warming up in the sun!

Kale going to rescue Mason so he wouldn't have to swim.  He was not a fan of the cold water!

The cool dudes! Garet, Dallin and Mason

The famous cliff jump!  A few more people were brave this year!

How many people can you fit on a tube?

Dallin fell asleep in the weirdest position!

Paige and Dallin surfing in the waves!

Robyn learned to surf!

Dallin asleep again!

Sage surfing

Molly surfing, I think this was her first time.

We of course did an adult air chair run!  We laughed and laughed and had the best time!

Sarah stuck between a rock and a hard spot!

Human pyramid....well sort of!  Eric, Nate and me.

Garet and Paige taking an afternoon snooze.

The Fielden's had some drama with their tent.  We had a crazy wind storm the first night.  While Eric was trying to keep his boat from smashing into the rocks, Heather was trying to fish her kids out of their collapsed tent and put them in the car to sleep.  It was quite the night.  The wind didn't last too long though and pretty soon everyone was fast asleep.

Dallin the mud duck.

Owen, Henry, and Kale - deep in discussion

Garet and Sage wanted to have their own tent after having spent the night under the stars during the wind storm....so they used our little one.  Notice the water starting to creep up!

The water is coming.

Sunrise ski!  One of our favorites at Lake Powell.  Eric

Mckell and Abby brought this stuff to draw temporary tattoos....I think it's called Henna

Garet's kind of random symbol

I love this guy! Jared

Breelyn was pretty daring on the wakeboard this year.

She was doing awesome surfing too!

Camille and Dallin - look at that concentration

Breelyn and Paige - she can't be shown up by her brother.

Garet learned the slalom ski!

Other memories:  Dance party on the beach, adult conversations on top of the rocks, Jared jumping off the cliff with me and losing his sunglasses,   3 taco dinners (taco salad, street tacos, navajo tacos), Dave saving the giant floaty and sacrificing his leg in the process, day trips, and many more.  Until next year Lake Powell!
