We have done so many fun things the past month and a half and I haven't been very good about taking pictures!
We had this cool bird in our yard one day. It was so fun to watch.
These are bad pictures.....but I finally got brave and took the kids to the Roy Aquatic Center the last week before they had to go back to school. All 5 kids by myself and we all survived:) It actually wasn't as bad as I thought. They were really good:)
Boating at East Canyon. I think we made it to most of the Lake's in northern Utah this year. (Pineview, Mantua, East Canyon, Echo, Bear Lake, Willard, Starvation, and Lake Powell)
Paige loves the tube and says "No" when it is time to get off.
Mason is still more comfortable being in the drivers seat:) Maybe someday he'll venture into the water. Jared didn't learn how to water-ski until he was 16, so we will give Mason a few more years.
The latest trick....standing on the knee board...Wow, now that takes talent.
First day of school....Camille - 5th grade, Mrs. Brown.
Garet - 3rd grade, Mrs. Owens
Always need a shot of the backpacks.
For a school project, Garet had to put together a "Me Musuem". They had to choose three things that they like or that describes them. He chose biking...
...his sling shot
...and Legos
Mason finally got to start Kindergarten a week later. He has Mrs. Young in the afternoon.
He sure loves it!
Dallin (3 1/2) and Paige (22 months) were pretty sad when Mason had to leave. Now Dallin loves it because he knows we have special time while Paige is napping!
Camille and her two friends Kendall and Breelyn made and decorated this cake for Tomato Days! So creative.
I forgot the camera at the produce contest, but they all put in lots of veggies and earned money. That really long one that Mason is holding is a snake gourd. Pretty cool!
Jared's parents came out Sunday night and spent all day Monday with us enjoying the festivities in Hooper. Terra and Nate also drove up and spent the day with us.
Waiting for the parade.
Jared, Garet, Hailee, Taylor, Camille, Mason, Terra, Luke, Dallin, Grandma and Ava.
Nate, Grandpa, Paige.
Riding the little train. They really were having a good time:)
We love living in Hooper! Jared said he kept tearing up during the day because it is such a great place to live with good people and old fashioned fun! What a great day.
We went to the Ogden Temple Open House the day after Labor Day! It was so beautiful! I hope some of my children get married there someday. The next night I went with the youth and then that Saturday I got to usher in the temple. It was a great experience! Can't wait til it opens.
Grandma had Boys camp and girls camp for all the grand kids who are 3 and older this summer. They had a theme and a song and did all sorts of fun things. My kids have the best grandma's in the whole world. Seriously, they are LUCKY!!
Brave and Strong was the theme.
Cute scrawny boys. Someday we will have to take this picture again:) They might turn into strippling warriors in a few years.
Isaac (8), Garet (8), Braxton (4), Owen (5), Mason (5), Dallin (3)
One of the times we were boating at Pineview....ohh the things you do for your baby sister. We are putting this picture in your wedding video Garet!
One family night we told Camille we needed her white board for something and she wanted to know what we were doing. She kept buggin and buggin until finally this is what she did...
It's kind of hard to tell in this picture.....but we cut Camille's hair. We cut and donated about 12 inches. She's been bugging me for a while, so we just did it. I will have to get a better picture of her. It is a really cute a-line bob.....that I cut myself. Don't look too close:)
Good bye Summer.....We will miss you terribly!
